By using Word!, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. We've tried to keep these terms simple and fair.
2. The Service
Word! is a multiplayer word game. We provide it "as is" and will do our best to keep it running smoothly, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime.
3. Your Account
- You're responsible for keeping your login details secure
- You must be 18 or older to create an account and use Word!
- You can delete your account anytime from the Profile screen
4. Acceptable Use
We ask that you:
- Play fair: Don't use bots, scripts, or automated tools
- Be respectful: Keep nicknames and group names appropriate
- Don't cheat: Don't exploit bugs or manipulate the game
- Don't harm: Don't attempt to hack, overload, or damage our systems
Violations could result in account suspension or termination.
5. Your Content
When you submit words or create groups:
- You grant us permission to use your words submitted within the game (displaying your words to other players, etc.)
6. Our Rights
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue features (we'll try to give notice when possible)
- Remove content that violates these terms
- Suspend accounts that violate these terms (with explanation)
7. Limitation of Liability
Word! is a free game provided for entertainment. We're not liable for:
- Lost game progress due to technical issues
- Temporary service interruptions
- Actions of other players
We do our best, but we can't guarantee perfection.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you through the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
9. Termination
You can stop using Word! anytime—just delete your account from the Profile screen. We may terminate accounts that seriously or repeatedly violate these terms, but we'll explain why.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in South African courts.
